ABOUT

Zluo Time is a dingy gas station that’s existed in Coldwater City only for teenagers to buy cheap beer and for college students to wallow in existential dread. At least, that’s what Gabe Morales thinks until he applies for a part time summer job.

Turns out Zluo Time is a legendary celestial resting place where time stands still and everyone can take a little bit of a damn break where your manager may or may not be Jesus himself and your coworkers include a bioluminescent alien god and a cynical-as-all-hell community college film major.

A Gas Station Out of Time is an upcoming audio sitcom that focuses on the misadventures of Gabe at his new part time job at the Zluo Time gas station.

CAST AND CREW

WRITERS

JACQUELINE "JACQ" CHO (she/they) - Showrunner, Head Writer
Jacqueline Cho is a Korean-Canadian writer and student currently based in Toronto. A Gas Station Out of Time is their second show following the Audio Verse Award nominated It Was Never Just About the Revolution. Jacq enjoys making fun of Nietzsche and treating NBC sitcoms like the true works of tragicomedic genius that they are. You can find her website here.

REY VARGAS (they/them) - Writer
The first thing that Rey wrote for fun was an essay on Michael Jackson's death. They did this in the 4th grade and have since branched out to writing narrative fiction and audio dramas to offset the stress that comes with being a university student. Born and raised in the Philippines, Rey is always up for contributing to the representation of Filipinos in audio dramas. A Gas Station Out of Time marks their debut as a fiction podcast writer. When they are not writing or studying, Rey voice acts or plays the guitar.

CAST
JOSH PORTILLO (he/him) - Gabe Morales
Josh Portillo is a Asian-American Voice Actor (Filipino/Vietnamese/Chinese) who resides in the city of Jacksonville, Florida. Being a fan of Metal Gear Solid and Dragonball Z at a young age, Josh always wondered how it would be to become one of the people that voiced the characters he knew so well. It wasn't until the end of college that he found his passion in voiceover work, and has been working to make it his full time career during the past two years. While on his path, Josh loves to go to the gym, spend time with friends, and get hyped over the one series that all of his friends go crazy for, One Piece.

SOREN CHANG (she/her) - Ange Park
Ange is played by 19 year old Korean American Soren Chang, a full time university student currently studying Comparative Literature and art history. She enjoys spending her free times at museums and art galleries, biking, taking pictures, and studying in quiet cafes. She's ecstatic to again be working with incredible writer Jacqueline Cho on this project, as well as all the other talented cast and crew she's meeting at Zluo Time.

REY ÁNGEL YOALI OLACHEA MARTINEZ (he/they) - Living Light (L.L.)
Rey Ángel Yoali Olachea Martinez (he/them) is neither a king nor an angel, but they are still a pretty cool dude. They are an amateur voice actor who sometimes talks in third person, like right now. They are also an illustrator and are studying graphic design in Mexico (with some success). Find them on Instagram and Twitter, or drop them a tip in their Ko-Fi.

ALAIN D'REGEL (he/him) - Jeez
My name is Alain D'Regel (he/him), a French-Mexican voice actor since 2019. Throughout my life I was confused as to what career path I wanted to take, changing from wanting to be an engineer to treating people through psychology. When my depression hit it got incredibly hard for me to find any sort of motivation to participate in any field, all except for voice acting. Despite having always enjoyed doing silly voices, I never fully realized just how much I loved it until my parents pointed it out and directed me towards Cours Florent, a university in Paris, France dedicated to theater acting. Ever since then, I've been fully enveloped in voice acting and have slowly but surely been improving my skills with the hope that I could lend my talents to others and help them bring their characters and projects to life!

B. NARR (they/them) - Luke Miller
B. Narr is a voice actor from Oklahoma who spends most of their time waxing poetic about monsters, writing queer horror, and pretending to be other people. Their most recent roles include Faulkner in The Silt Verses and Kelson Rickey in The Waystation, as well as narrating their own short story for Nightmare Magazine. When they’re not doing creative work, B moonlights as a grad student and occasionally gets lost in the woods.

LIAM DELANE (he/him) - Ethan Wyatt
G'day! I'm Liam, a voice actor from down under looking to bring life to some wonderful - and not so wonderful - characters! You can hear me as a variety of extra characters in the Age of Valor: Heritage audio drama, most notably the character only known as 'Death' in chapter 17; Ren Fischer in the first animation for Art of the Sins; and now you can catch me as meanie-pants Ethan in A Gas Station Out of Time!

Oh, and did I mention I'm an author?

MICHAEL CATAGA (he/him) - Howard the Victorian Gentleman
Michael Cataga is a Filipino-American voice actor from the state of Texas. He is well known for his content creator name, Omnidapt, on Youtube and on Twitch. His channel has been dedicated on several comic dub series that he's been working on over the years such as Camp Counselor Jason and Persona 5: Adult Confidant AU. He is also currently producing his own horror project, Skin Layers. Other than that, he's been a voice actor since 2016, an audio engineer since 2018, and a video editor since 2014. He continues to build over his voice acting work, is currently studying for his bachelor's degree in college, and hopes to become a professional wrestler in the near future.
